An Overall Look at Halloween 2012

This year Halloween have got to be the worst one out of the entire three years of Halloween history in Pico. Some of us or me just signed up for disappointment by expecting a little too much since they have done a pretty good job with the recent shop items.

It's been a while since the last AG campaign, and Pico didn't do this any justice. The limited item, Halloween Ghost Long T-shirt, is something I would expect and see in the daily gacha, which by the way, is a complete rip off since it is the exact same one as last year along with the fact that Pico didn't even bother to lower the price 300 gummies to 100 gummies per spin  I won't even go into that.
Nonetheless, the AG campaign item could have been better, much better. Ameba Pico should have put this "Halloween Ghost Long T-shirtl" in a gummies items Robo rather than making us purchase 1500 AmeGold for it. The shirt is rather plain in my opinion.

This was the only thing that was given to us, no silhouette of what the items might be, no hints, no whatsoever. It is a shame actually. Had there be a silhouette of the items, it would have encourage more players to buy the mystery boxes.

The mummy items are passable.. But as for the rest, I'm not very impressed. Especially with the wigs, they look very awkward to me.. The two mini buns at the top and the low pigtails at the bottom clash instead of going together. Either remove the two buns or the two pigtails and that would leave behind a decent wig. But as for this, these wigs look terrible not mentioning ugly. On top of that, those circus clothes are hideous.

For God's sake, just how more lazy can the CyberAgents get
Beside the three mystery boxes, there is not a single new items in the Halloween park! Oh, and so much for the removal of those premium gachas, they brought it back anyway. Everywhere is just more and more renewal items.

Do you know what is today?
It is none other than my birthday~

After The Maintenance

When I was once again faced with the unfriendly gray screen indicating maintenance time, I was expecting to see some Halloween items along with a Halloween Park, since Pigg is already a few days ahead with a musical Halloween Park and especially cute clothes.

But it seems Ameba Pico is a little bit late on the Halloween part this year. It's either they are doing something "big" for Halloween in Pico, or the staffs are still trying to throw all the gachas they have in store for us for the time being. Well, I'm guessing it's the latter, since this is Pico after all, what can we expect.

Cherrybelle Collaboration
A special toast to this ChiBi Collab for having so many adorable shop items  Ever since the first collab with Alice Nine, the rest of the collaborations have been gacha, gacha, gachassss. How long has it been since I last saw a set of wigs in the shop? Decent wigs at that. Pretty long, eh. It is about time that Ameba Pico stop releasing colorful wigs, since that has been pretty much all they ever did.  Up until now, there hasn't been  a lot of  natural hair color wigs beside those in premium gachas, which is a poor deal if you really think about it...
Beside the hair color, one thing that I like about these is that they blend in very well, making it not so difficult to find the right clothes to put on. The wigs' styles are those that are easily combine and mix with other clothing to create a completely unique style of your own.

Functions Update

Starting off with the chat history, there a now a small icon of the Pico player who is speaking to the left. I find this quite helpful to other Ameba Pico bloggers out there. Whenever there is a post containing a portion of the chat history to describe an event, the readers won't be confuse of whose dialogue is whose since the visual helps them follow the conversation better.

When your cursor pass over the Pico player, their username will appears over the player's head. Both of this and the chat history above have been a part of Ameba Pigg for quite some time. This pic is featuring tinkerbel007 with her overhead username.
Oh, and I also bought Cherrybelle Steffy's wig~Behold my ribbon hair ~

From now on, whenever the park that you are currently in has two or more rooms, there will be a gray arrow next to the park's name. When clicked, a list of all the rooms will appear. This really help to deal with the lag, since you won't have to wait for the "Travel" menu to load. Just simply click on the arrow to the right and you'll be able to go to any of the other rooms using this neat shortcut

A Little Update

A month have passed before I even knew! Life is a little hectic right now, so bear with me. I haven't blog anything for so long! Was I missed? ... That's alright. No problem.

Gachas

What is with the gachas flood? I can almost predict what Pico will bring every week  Non-stop premium gachas release on weekdays, and following those is a casino challenge on the weekends. At least bring more parks and tokens/ gummies items, fools  The good news, however, is that the gachas are much, much better in my opinions. I am sure that I'm not the only one, but don't they give off an Ameba Pigg feeling

For instance, the latest animal circus premium gacha. When you look at it, there's hope. Lots more clothing, which also include three quality wigs. Chances of getting something beside a decor are pretty high

Speaking of which, I like the idea of having shop items relating to the gacha in the same area. It's nice to know that I can actually get something I want rather trying my luck spinning. Even though the shop items have yet to be as nice as the gacha ones, it's a good start.

Don't look at me..  It was unavoidable.
Buy one get the rest free, or you can just take them...  Just take them...

World Community Parks

What. Is. This. My eyessss
Adding the Arabic and Portuguese Park is really nice for a change. There are many Arabic players that I've met in this game. But I had to squint to see the park name because of the font! Even if there are more parks, just making the font smaller would do, there were no need to change it. The previous font was easier to see..
It seems that the Vietnamese Park is also getting more popular, which is good. In the beginning, I was afraid Pico had release it all for nothing since is was empty most of the time. On the contrary, my beloved Japanese Park is decreasing in numbers.  What a tragedy...
Now a goodbye to the Korean Park and the French Park, the two which got removed.

I'll try to keep this blog as active as possible  Don't ever abandon me and please keep reading~ Take care always, my lovely readers.
